So Proud and So Impressed

This week, my students began submitting work for credit/completion grades.  They all did such an excellent job!  I know working from home can make you feel like it is already summertime.  Then, you know what that means....our brains go on "vacay-mode" and we just want to relax and have fun.  But these kids have persevered and continued to work hard under such unique circumstances.  I am so proud and impressed with the work they are turning in! This also goes back to the parents.  I know it is not easy sometimes, but THANK YOU for what you are doing.  Thank you for continuing to push your child academically, thank you for holding them accountable, thank you for giving grace when new information seems to be thrown at you every single day.  

I know for me, as a parent, it keeps me focused on the positive and not dwelling on fear of what is happening around me.  I just continue to pray and find the light amidst the dark.  Case and point: my fabulous students.  Their work, their photos, their videos, and everything in between just make my day and I could not be more proud of each and every one of them.  Keep reading books, keep working hard and keep learning new things!!
